Friday 08 November 2013 - After School Club 'Road Safety Week' (18th to 22nd November)

KOOSA Kids After School Clubs are supporting Brake’s Road Safety Awareness campaign by running a Beep Beep! Day on Wednesday 20th November and organising some fun activities throughout the week that will help to raise awareness of road safety basics.

The after school session on Beep Beep! Day will be completely focused on Road Safety Awareness, starting with an informative talk on how to stay safe as well as running fun activities such as decorating Traffic Light Biscuits and playing games such as Road Sign Relay, Traffic Light Bingo and Traffic Jam.  All children who attend the Beep Beep! Day will receive a sticker and certificate.

If your child doesn’t attend the Club on this particular day, they will be given the opportunity to help support the initiative by entering a Road Safety colouring and drawing competition with a chance of winning a great prize.

We will be fund-raising for the Brake charity throughout Road Safety Week and any donations will be much appreciated
as this will help Brake to continue their work in supporting families bereaved by road crashes and campaigning for road safety.

Donations can be made into the collection tin at the KOOSA Kids reception desk.

Brake is a road safety charity that campaigns nationally and regionally, and raises awareness among the public to stop road deaths and injuries, making our communities safer and greener, and improving support for crash victims.
