Tuesday 25 August 2015 - Liphook Holiday Club Awarded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted

Fantastic news, following on the news that our Teddington Holiday club was awarded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted a few days ago, we are absolutely thrilled to announce that our Bohunt School Holiday Club in Liphook has also just been awarded top marks, for the second time in a row!

Once again the inspection lasted most of the day with the inspector interviewing staff, observing and speaking to the children and also seeking the views of several parents.  They also carried out a thorough review of our systems, paperwork and procedures to ensure that the club was providing the best level of care for children attending.

Amongst a host of very positive comments, the inspector highlighted;

'All staff have an excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage. They understand the importance of providing children with a club where they can relax, play and engage in exciting activities during the holidays. Staff get to know children extremely well. Children benefit from the enthusiastic approach of staff and management, who join in with games that children start. Their interaction follows children's interests exceptionally'

Needless to say, everyone at KOOSA Kids is absolutely thrilled with our second 'Outstanding' grade in the space of a few days, especially given this is the second time in just over three years that our Bohunt School holiday club has been awarded top marks.  The team at Bohunt, lead by Kayleigh (who was also in charge back in 2012) have been working very hard to ensure the club runs as well as possible and this has clearly been recognised again by Ofsted.

Outstanding grades are notoriously hard to achieve in the 'out of school' sector and we are all very proud this this is now the eighth KOOSA Kids club to have been awarded an 'Outstanding' grade by Ofsted in the past five years.

Many Thanks
