Thursday 28 November 2013 - Another Ofsted 'Good' for KOOSA Kids

Dear Parent/Guardian,

We just wanted to share the fantastic news that our after school club at Shottermill Junior School in Haslemere was inspected on 4th November 2013 and it has just been awarded the second highest grade possible, 'Good'.

After school club Ofsted inspections happen without prior notice, so not only are they based on how a club runs on a ‘typical’ day, the report and its findings should serve to provide a genuine appraisal (for all those connected) of how well the club is running.

Here is just one of the very many positive comments from the report;

‘The club provides a strong welcoming environment, which values and respects children and their parents. The management and staff team fully understand their responsibilities to ensure they meet the requirements of the revised Early Years Foundation Stage and they do it well. This is the club's first inspection since registering and they have worked hard to provide a good quality service which is reflected in their practice’

Given that the club has only been open since April this year, we are extremely pleased to have been awarded the second highest outcome that Ofsted are able to give.  This outcome also adds to our unrivalled Ofsted track record, with 21 of our clubs currently rated as 'Good' and four 'Outstanding'.

If you have any questions about the inspection please feel free to contact us, and to view a copy of the report in full please click here.

Kind Regards

The KOOSA Kids Team
